U.P. Yoddha Pro Kabaddi Seven: The much-awaited Pro Kabaddi League Season 7 is all set to kick off from 20th July 2019. As many as 12 teams will participate in the tournament. The season 7 campaign will see the league adopt a double round format where each team will play against the other sides twice, with the top six teams qualifying for the playoffs at the end of the league stage.
One of the newest teams in Pro Kabaddi League, U.P. Yoddha has made a spectacular start to their Pro Kabaddi campaign. The Yoddhas have played two seasons so far and have managed to reach the playoffs in both the seasons. Spectacular performances in both the seasons have made them a side to watch out for in Pro Kabaddi League season 7.
Here’s a Look at the Predicted Starting Seven of U.P. Yoddha:
1. Nitish Kumar:
Position: Defender (Right Corner)
A find for the future, Nitish Kumar made heads turn after claiming 100 tackle points in a single season of Pro Kabaddi. Nitish’s tally of 100 tackle points is, in fact, the most by any player in a single Vivo Pro Kabaddi League campaign.
2. Monu Goyat
Position: Raider (Right In)
Monu Goyat took part in three Pro Kabaddi campaigns so far in his career. His breakthrough season came in Pro Kabaddi Season 5, where he accumulated 202 points in 26 matches. Pro Kabaddi Season 5 also saw him scoring 45 of his points in do-or-die raids, which made him the second most successful raider in do-or-die situations.
3. Narender
Position: All-rounder (Right Cover)
U.P. Yoddha all-rounder, Narender, impressed everyone in his debut campaign, accumulating 42 tackle points, including 5 super tackles and 2 high 5s. He will play his second season for U.P Yoddha in the Vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 7.
4. Rishank Devadiga
Position: Raider (Center)
One of the most successful and fittest raiders in Pro Kabaddi League, Rishank made his debut in the inaugural season of Pro Kabaddi with U Mumba. Reshank’s best performance came in Pro Kabaddi Season 3, finishing second in the list of a most successful raiders with 106 points from 16 matches.
5. Amit
Team: U.P. Yoddha
Position: Defender (Left- cover)
U.P defender, Amit had a mediocre season in his debut campaign, accumulating 6 tackle points in 14 matches. He would look to improve his numbers this season.
6. Sachin Kumar
Team: U.P Yoddha
Position: All-rounder (left-corner)
Sachin Kumar is an Indian Kabaddi player who plays for U.P. Yoddha in the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League. Sachin Kumar made his debut in Pro Kabaddi Season 2 with Dabang Delhi. The upcoming Pro Kabaddi League will mark his fifth Pro Kabaddi League campaign.
7. Shrikant Jadhav
Team: U.P. Yoddha
Position: Raider (Left in)
Shrikant Jadhav made his debut in Pro Kabaddi League Season 3 with Bengal Warriors. While he performed decently in Pro Kabaddi Season3 & 4, his performance in Season 5 caught everyone’s eye, as he scored 98 points in 19 games, which was also the second-highest by a U Mumba player in that season.
