Odds To Win the NCAAF Title

College football season is right around the corner. Coaches are already meeting the media for media day at their respective conferences. The Georgia Bulldogs won the College Football Playoff last season against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Analysts are placing their college football picks for the upcoming 2022 season in each conference and also nationally though. Who are some of the favorites to win the College Football Playoff in 2022?

Alabama +175

The Alabama Crimson Tide, to no surprise, are the betting favorites to win it all this season. The SEC is the most stacked conference in all of college football. The latest college football predictions have Alabama also as the favorite to win it all. This is because of head coach Nick Saban, quarterback Bryce Young, and linebacker Will Anderson.

Young won the Heisman Trophy last season, and Anderson could potentially be one of the top picks in the 2023 NFL Draft. Jahmyr Gibbs is the running back that transfers from Georgia Tech to Alabama. They are loaded but are in a tough conference once again this season.

Ohio State +325

The Buckeyes, under head coach Ryan Day, are going to be very explosive offensively this season. Quarterback C.J. Stroud is one of the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy. He is projected to be one of the top quarterbacks taken in the 2023 NFL Draft. TreVeyon Henderson is the running back on this football team, and he is a dark horse candidate for the Heisman Trophy.

Ohio State will have one of the best-receiving cores in all of college football, with Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Julian Fleming, and Marvin Harrison Jr. at the core. The defense could be a problem, but linebacker Steele Chambers is one of the marquee players on this defense though.

Georgia +450

The Georgia Bulldogs have the third-best odds of winning the 2022 College Football Playoff. Georgia won it all last season and basically lost their entire starting defense to the NFL, but they are going to reload this season. The defense may not be the same under head coach Kirby Smart this season, and the offense may not be either.

This could be one of those years where you bet this football team at your own risk and also bet Georgia for college football picks against the spread.

Stetson Bennett is the quarterback for Georgia. Senior linebacker Nolan Smith will be one of the key players on this Georgia Bulldogs defense this season.

Clemson +1000

One of the reasons why Clemson is this high is because of head coach Dabo Swinney, and they are expecting a big bounce-back season for this Tigers football program. The ACC is a little bit better these days, but it is all going to ride on junior quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei.

They lost defensive coordinator Brent Venables. He took the head coaching job with the Oklahoma Sooners. Redshirt junior linebacker LaVonta Bentley will be the main catalyst on a very good Clemson Tigers defense. Bet them at your risk because the offense may struggle once again for them this season.

USC and Texas A&M +2200

USC and Texas A&M both have the fifth-best odds to win it all this season in college football. The Trojans are in the PAC-12, and some people are believers that head coach Lincoln Riley is going to change this football program overnight and be in contention right away with sophomore quarterback Caleb Williams now under center.

The Aggies are in the SEC, and they could be this year’s Georgia Bulldogs. Head coach Jimbo Fisher of the Texas A&M Aggies has recruited really well as of late, and they feel like they are turning the corner as a football program. Redshirt sophomore Haynes King will be the starting quarterback.
