Bo has garnered acclaim as a promising League prospect since his time with FunPlus Phoenix’s Academy roster. Although Team Vitality acquired him in 2022, he faced limited opportunities to showcase his skills as the team struggled to break into the upper echelons of the LEC under its new format. During the past summer split, the team finished in 10th place with a disappointing 1-8 record, failing to qualify for the playoffs.
Similarly, Upset found himself on Vitality’s underwhelming 2023 roster as they navigated another disappointing season. Despite the team’s struggles, Upset remains one of the most experienced players in the league, offering strong mechanics and game sense, making him a reliable backline threat for any high-performing lineup.
Adding to the star-studded lineup is YamatoCannon, a prominent figure in the European League scene. Boasting head coaching roles with Splyce, Team Vitality, Sandbox Gaming, and Fnatic, the 27-year-old is not only an accomplished strategist but also a popular streamer who has contributed to the LEC analyst desk. Notably, he recently coached Karmine Corp’s LFL team in the 2023 Coupe de France, indicating his commitment to extending his tenure for the 2024 season.
Karmine Corp, a French esports powerhouse, has been a significant presence in the League scene since its entry in 2020, founded by content creator Kamel “Kameto” Kebir. Despite facing initial challenges, the organization has garnered widespread regional support, clinching two LFL championships and four EMEA Masters trophies. Following persistent efforts and negotiations with Riot Games, Karmine Corp secured Astralis’ franchised slot, solidifying its position as the newest team in the LEC for the upcoming 2024 season.
