BearClaw Gaming return to VALORANT after previous controversy

BearClaw Gaming have announced the signing of the KPMOONIIBLM9 roster. The roster was a free agent roster that competed in the MY/SG region of the Asia Pacific.

The roster led by Henri “Flaring” Forichon has had an impressive start to their split of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT). The team qualified into the playoffs as the second seed only behind Paper Rex.

This is the American organization’s third stint in VALORANT. The organization previously had a roster in the Korean region and then in the Brazilian region. In February of 2021 the roster signed a Korean roster that featured Yu “BuZz” Byung-chul and Choi “10X” Jin-woo. However, the whole moved was marred with controversy as the staff and management left the organization as the parent company stopped paying their salaries.

BCG then confirmed that the organization has subsequently parted from its parent corporation and will no longer be associated in any way as a result of this disagreement with its now-former players.

The organization then moved to Brazil where it had stints with three different rosters. Their time in Brazil was short lived as the rosters failed to have any remarkable results.

The current roster however looks promising as they organization looks to leave a positive mark in the Asia Pacific region. The roster had a great shot at making it to the VCT APAC: S2 Challengers after their performance during the league stage.
