adam-lallanaA number of Liverpool’s Premier League rivals, precisely four clubs, are reportedly interested in signing Adam Lallana this summer.

The midfielder had joined the Reds from Southampton in 2014 and his contract at Anfield is set to expire this June.

And with Lallana potentially available as a free agent, the 31-year-old attacking midfielder is being monitored by Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and West Ham if one goes by the reports of The Telegraph.

The report also states no discussions with either club have taken place with the Liverpool man focused on the task at hand with the Reds fighting on three fronts – with the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup all still to play for.adam-lallana-jurgen-klopp

Earlier, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was pretty clear he would not allow Lallana to leave during the January transfer window with the club in such a promising position.

Speaking at the opening of the transfer window last month, the gaffer told: “Everything about Adam Lallana, Adam Lallana knows and I know.

“I’m really happy for him that he’s in sensational shape at the moment. That’s what we try to show constantly, as often as we bring him in.

“He is a very important player in this moment. What will happen in the future, we will see. But for him, wherever it is – here or somewhere else – the only important thing is that he can show he is 100 per cent fit.

“He had some injury problems [that are] completely done; trained, body is super fit, mind in a perfect place, enjoys the time here in the moment. You can see that in each second of training and [when] he plays, very influential.

“But these kind of things we don’t discuss in public, so you have to speculate further.”

Last summer, both Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno were allowed to leave the club at the expiration of their respective contracts.

The same could be the scenario for Lallana, who returned to the Reds squad in last weekend’s victory over former club Southampton after sitting out three matches with illness, and now it looks like the England international is all set to part ways after six years of service on Merseyside.

The playmaker has seen his game-time limited following a number of injury-plagued campaigns. He starred for the Reds in Klopp’s early years at Liverpool, most notably helping them qualify for the Champions League for the first time under the German in 2017.

Recently, he gained plaudits for his performances against Manchester United in October with a late equaliser that was a particular highlight of the season for the England international.
