Travis Head Faces Fan Trouble in Hyderabad During IPL 2025, Watch Video
Being a famous cricket player isn’t always fun. Travis Head, a star for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, found that out the hard way in Hyderabad. SRH is staying in the city for a week to play matches against Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings at their home ground. While Head is loved when he’s hitting the ball all over the park, he recently saw the downside of fame when fans wouldn’t leave him alone.
Travis Head’s Privacy Problem
Head has been to India before and knows how much people love cricket here. But this time, he just wanted to shop at a supermarket by himself. It didn’t take long for trouble to start. Within minutes, fans spotted him and crowded around. They asked for selfies, and Head said no politely. Most people would walk away, but one fan didn’t stop. This person followed Head, recorded him with a phone, and kept begging for a photo. “We all Hyderabadis love you, sir; you have to give some response,” the fan said. When Head still didn’t agree, the same fan turned to someone else and complained, “He’s showing too much attitude.”
Head wasn’t happy about this. He’s used to fans cheering for him during games, but this felt different. It was an invasion of his personal space, and it left him upset. Fame can be great when you’re winning, but it’s tough when fans don’t respect your boundaries.

Not the First Time for SRH Players
This isn’t new for SRH players. Last year, two other team members, Heinrich Klaasen and Jaydev Unadkat, had a similar problem. They were at a mall when hundreds of fans surrounded them. It got so bad that Klaasen looked really uncomfortable. Videos of that moment weren’t pleasant to watch. These situations show how hard it can be for players to enjoy normal life when fans go too far.
Virat Kohli’s Big Incident
The most famous example of this kind of thing happened to Virat Kohli in 2022. While he was in Australia for a tour, someone sneaked into his hotel room. They took pictures of his personal stuff and shared them online. Kohli was angry and posted about it on social media. He wrote, “I get that fans are excited to see their favorite players and want to meet them. I’ve always liked that. But this is too much. It makes me feel worried about my privacy. If I can’t be safe in my own hotel room, where can I feel okay? I don’t like this kind of crazy behavior. Please respect people’s privacy and don’t treat them like they’re just here to entertain you.”
Kohli’s words hit home for a lot of players. He’s one of the biggest stars in cricket, and even he couldn’t escape this problem. It’s a reminder that being famous doesn’t mean losing all personal space.
