Meanwhile, during one of the developments in the match Veteran Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin removed Steve Smith for a duck.

Ashwin’s wicket was not ordinary. With that Duck, he has now become the only bowler in the world to remove Steve Smith for Zero twice in his career. No other bowler in the history has been able to do that. The first time that Ravi Ashwin got rid of Smith for a duck was back in 2020 at Melbourne.

The Indian Off-spinner bowled a brilliant over and removed 2 batters in the space of 3 deliveries. First up, Marnus Labuschagne failed to read Ashwin’s low bounce ball and his pad was caught before the wicket. 1 ball later, Steve Smith nicked a ball which was going towards left instead of turning right.
