In the Brabin tournament, which was held at 1964-65, Graham managed to get 23 wickets in three matches for a run rate of 10.47. In the second innings during the match with India, and when the team was in a risky situation, Graham managed to score 43 runs in the second innings and helped the team to get away from being defeated.

Being a left-handed batsman, and a bowler and at the same time maintaining extreme performance in fielding made Graham not to focus on any one part as a cricketer. In 1971-72, Graham toured with the West Indies team and played four test matches but seldom tasted victory though Graham Vivian’s performance as a fielder was appreciated by many. Till 1978-79, Graham continued to play domestic cricket matches for New Zealand. But however, he never played a test later on.

Graham’s last test was against the West Indies on 20th April 1972. His only ODI was against Pakistan on 11th February 1973. In 1981, after retiring from cricket, Graham Turner started his own company which focuses on the manufacturing of the synthetic turfs for sports grounds. By 2007, his New Zealand’s firm was weaving an enormous amount of turfs for the games.
