The coronavirus pandemic has claimed so many lives and brought life to a standstill. As Maximum Sports Events has been cancelled and every country is thinking on how to cope up with this virus and how fast we will develop vaccination so that we can ultimately flatten this curve forever and also the vaccination should be created in such a way that if these type of virus occurs in future we have an ultimate solution for that. Professional Cricketer Association announced that “County Cricketers will take a maximum reduction in the salaries considering the outbreak that this coronavirus has brought in our life”.

All the players have agreed to come up with a support package to help this domestic game. This decision was taken in mind after consulting with ECB (England & Wales Cricket Board) and PCA (Professional Cricketers’ Association) along with 18 first-class counties that they will have maximum reductions in salaries for two months. PCA announced that they will sacrifice a total amount of $1 million which will serve as the domestic players’ prize money.

The amount of $1 million which has been relinquished will be used in assisting first-class counties in the implementation of the 2020-2024 County Partnership Agreement. As this reallocated funds will be used for those players across the game in providing financial support to all those players who have left the game in 2020 and beyond.

Also, the PCA chairman Dary Mitchell thanked all the players and support staff for coming with a collaborative decision. He further added that “I am happy that we have concluded as this is the challenging time for all of us.”

As every industry is facing an issue and we understand that and players understand there part as what they need to do in the need of an hour. We appreciate that.
