Andrew Jonathan Penn is a former New Zealand cricketer who is born on July 27, 1974, at Wanganui, New Zealand. Penn played five one day internationals for New Zealand. In the Hawke Cup, he also played for Wanganui. His batting style was right-handed and his bowling style was right-hand fast medium. His ODI debut was 27 March 1997 Vs Sri Lanka at Basin Reserve, Wellington. Andres Penn last ODI was also against Sri Lanka at McLean Park, Napier in the year of 2001, 31st January.

Andrew Penn made three overseas tours with New Zealand. These 3 tours are the record for the most tours with a test-playing team in a complete career without ever playing in a Test.

Andrew Penn was an aggressive fast-medium out swing bowler who thrived at domestic level as his career figures show. But his consistency level was tremendous like he was the model of consistency. He made only five one day international for team New Zealand and was unable to break into the test side. He won state titles with Wellington and Central Districts.

In New Zealand first-class cricket year of 1998-99, he was the leading wicket taker with 40 wickets at 19.07 including two five-wicket hauls. His ODI bowling average economy was 7.58.

Penn batting style was right-handed. In total 5 matches, three innings his score was 23 with the highest score of 15, the average of 11.50 and the strike rate was 69.69. His batting consistency was very good. He dismissed most by Muttiah Muralitharan and Chaminda Vass 1 time respectively.

Andrew Penn has announced his retirement from first-class cricket on March 9, 2004. He is also a lawyer, made his decision when he joined a new practice and gave them an undertaking that he would not play representative cricket again.
