Eddo Brandes (Full Name: Eddo André Brandes) was born on 5th of March in the year 1963 who played for the cricket team of Zimbabwe. A right-handed batsman who officially was a right-arm fast bowler. He has reached the age of 55 and is now the coach of the Zimbabwe team where he was once a member.

Domestic Career

His domestic career started from the year 1994 where he played for the Mashonaland Country Districts from 1994 to 2001 where he played 60 matches where he gathered a total of 1151 runs for the team having a top score of 165 runs. As a bowler, he has bowled a total of 9437 balls with 179 wickets taken for his team.

International Career

Talking about his Test matches, his first Test match was on 18th of October 1992 which was against India. He altogether has played a total of 10 international matches scoring a total of 121 runs with a batting average of 10.08. His highest score was 39 instead of the fact that he was a bowler. Bowling a total of 1996 balls he managed to get a total of 26 wickets for the team. His last Test match was against Sri Lanka on 8th of December, 1999.

His ODI debut was against New Zealand on 10th of October, 1987. In his ODI career, he played a total of 59 matches gathering a total of 404 runs for the team with a batting average of 13.03 with two ’50s with his top score as 55 throughout his career.

He bowled a total of 2828 balls thereby collecting 70 wickets for the team. Bowling at an average of 32.37, he has two special innings where he had taken 5 wickets in each taking a total of 11 catches for his team. The last ODI that he ever played was against Sri Lanka which was on the 18th of December, 1999.
