CSK Squad 2020

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 auction was conducted in Kolkata, the event witnessed a riveting bidding wars unfolding a whopping success of Rs 140.30 crore being spent on the players.

The previous league’s runners-up, Chennai Super Kings retained most players before the auctions, accounting total of 20 players. Among the CSK retained players, included MS Dhoni, Dwayne Bravo, and Ravindra Jadeja. However, CSK had five slots left to fill in during the auction, but chose to bid 4 players, resulting in equal number of foreign and Indian players in the squad. The CSK players list 2020 mostly consist of those competitors who have been the backbone of the team for years, and in this season’s auction, the franchise bid on players to boost the bowling attack for their IPL squad.
