Shamsher Singh is born in Attari Punjab on 29th July 1997 and developed the inclination towards this great game of Hockey at such an early age and learned the nuances of this great game in Surjit Singh Hockey Academy in Jalandhar Punjab under coach Avtar Singh. He is also first player from Atari to be selected in India Olympics team.
