Mandeep Singh Early Life:
Mandeep Singh was born in Jalandhar Punjab and later learned the nuances of this great game after he enrolled as young player in Surjit Singh Hockey Academy. He was also part of Ranchi Rhinos franchise in the inaugural edition of Hockey India League where he made 15 appearances and scored 12 goals in the marquee event.
He made his debut for Rhinos on 16th January 2013, against Punjab Warriors at Surjit Singh Hockey Academy and scored goal at 50th minute and led his side towards victory by 2-1.

His performance in that tournament was so impressive that he received Ponty Chadha Trophy for the upcoming player of the tournament.
Mandeep Singh Professional Life:
After displaying sublime performance in Hockey India League 2013 season, he made his debut for the national men’s hockey team on 18th February 2013 in the second round of 2012-14 Hockey World League tournament which was held in Fiji where India displayed complete dominance over the opponent by eventually winning the contest with huge margin of 16-0.
His first International goal came against Oman on 20th February 2013 where he scored in the 42nd minute of the game and India defeated Oman by 9-1.
He received Best Junior Player award in 2012-14 Men’s FIH Hockey World League Final in 2014.
