However things won’t be easy for them, as some of the teams including the likes of China and Australia are tought nut to crack.
Coach Sjoerd Marjine revealed that ” We will take one match at a time, our focus initially will be on China’s game which will set tone for us, and you never know in Sports everything is possible”
Indian Women’s team yet to do well in World Cups as doing wonders there would set tone for them in Asian Games and especially Qualification in Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
One of the biggest positives when it comes to Women’s Hockey team they all have experience of playing in Hockey India League where they share dressing room with International players.
When you exchange dressing room with International players, there is so much you can learn from them be it mindset, focusing on D area or many more.
One of the players associated with Indian women’s team stated that “Foreign players keep telling us to make proper use of D circle and make the most out of opportunities laid in front of us that gave me whole lot of perspective.

Many female players believe that quality goalkeeping session followed by mindset drills and most importantly playing together for long time will help women in Blue in Upcoming Marquee event.
Indian Women’s Team have potential but the road won’t be easy for them.
