Nothing is better than seeing your favorite WWE superstars walking through the ring once again, and that’s exactly what happened at this year’s Super Show-Down pay-per-view, where the night was mesmerized with ‘Gold berg’ chants, who defeated “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt to win his second Universal Championship. At the start of the match, ‘The Spear King’ Goldberg quickly performed a spear on The Fiend for a near fall. however ‘The Fiend’ delivered the Mandible Claw on him.
Goldberg managed to counter the Claw and performed a Jackhammer on The Fiend to win the title. With this victory, Goldberg became the first wrestler to win a world championship after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Apart from this main event match, The O.C. ( Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) also bagged a victory against The Viking Raiders ( Ivar and Erik) in a tag team match during a kick-off show. On the other side, The Miz and Morrison took a splendid victory over The New Day to win WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship. ‘The Architect’ Seth Rollins and Murphy also retained their Raw Tag Team Championship against The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford).
‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar defended his WWE Championship against Ricochet. He delivered three-german suplexes and F5 to retain his title. Roman Reigns fought King Corbin in a Steel Cage match, where he performed a superman punch on Corbin to win the match. Bayley also defeated Naomi to retain her WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship.
In a singles match between Dolph Ziggler and Mansoor, Mansoor performed a moon sault on Ziggler to win the match. Following the match, Mansoor gave a heartwarming speech to the WWE Universe.
The biggest surprise of Super Show-Down event came in during a Gauntlet Match for Tuwaiq Trophy, when AJ Styles, after defeating Andrade, Bobby Lashley, Erick Rowan, and R-Truth, faced the biggest fear of the WWE The Undertaker. The Undertaker made a surprise return as an unannounced entrant in the gauntlet match and lastly eliminated AJ Styles to win the Tuwaiq Trophy.
