Erick Rowan Biography: Joseph Rudd, popularly known by his in-ring name Erick Rowan,is currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment for Smackdown brand. Rowan has been recognized as one of the supergiants in WWE history. Rowan came into limelight after he joined The Wyatt Family with Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt. Apart from being a professional wrestler Erick Rowan is a trained guitarist and a good footballer.
Rudd began his professional wrestling career in 2003 under the ring name Thoruf Marius, appearing at several wrestling promotions such as Pro Wrestling Noah and F1rst Wrestling promotion. Rudd signed a contract with WWE in 2011 and joined their developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) under the ring name Erick Rowan. After the rebranding of FCW to NXT, Rowan joined a faction named as ‘The Wyatt Family’ with a white sheep mask. Rowan made his WWE in-ring debut on SmackDown, where he and Harper clinched victory over Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai) in a tag team match.
Rowan also feuded with The Authority in 2014 and reunited with The Wyatt Family in 2015 against The Brothers of Destruction. In 2016, Rowan was drafted to SmackDown with Bray Wyatt while Braun Strowman was drafted to Raw. In 2017, Rowan formed a tag team with Luke Harper once again as The Bludgeon Brothers. Later, they won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 34 from The Usos.
Rowan has recently teamed up with Daniel Bryan helping him to retain his WWE Championship. Bryan and Rowan defeated The Usos for the vacant SmackDown Tag Team Championship, making Rowan a two-time WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion. Rowan and Bryan began a storyline with Roman Reigns, as Reigns was being attacked by a mystery conspirator. Later, the mystery man was recognized as Erick Rowan, ending the alliance with Bryan.

Joseph Rudd was born on November 28, 1981, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Rudd persuaded his academics from the University of Minnesota Morris. During the initial stages of his life, Rudd played football and even became a trained guitarist before joining professional wrestling. Joseph Rudd belongs to Minneapolis, Minnesota but grew up in Montrose, Minnesota. Joseph Rudd tied a knot with Jamie Rudd in 2010. The couple is the parent of two children in which the first child was born as a son and their youngest child is a baby girl. He resides in Forest Lake, Minnesota.

Rowan go involved in several feuds in The Wyatt Family’s feud with The Shield, The Usos and most importantly The Brothers of Destruction (Kane and The Undertaker).
The Wyatt Family terrorized the industry with its presence for two years. In 2014, Rowan became the fan-favourite when he joined Team Cena against Team Authority for Survivor Series, which Team Cena won. Later, The Authority fired Rowan along with former Team Cena teammates Dolph Ziggler and Ryback for being a part of Team Cena.
In 2015, Rowan reunited with Harper against The Shield. Being a member of The Wyatt Family, Rowan had his moment at Wrestle mania 32 when Rowan along with Bray Wyatt, Harper and Strowman circled The Rock to beat him down. However, Rowan was defeated by The Rock in 6 seconds that broke the record for the quickest Wrestle Mania match of all time. The Wyatt Family also feuded with tag teams like The New Day and League of Nations.
In 2016, Rowan was drafted to SmackDown with Bray Wyatt while Braun Strowman was drafted to Raw. In 2017, Rowan formed a tag team with Luke Harper once again as The Bludgeon Brothers. Later, they won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 34 from The Usos. The New Day defeated The Bludgeon Brothers in a No Disqualification match to win the championships on Smackdown Live episode.
Rowan has recently teamed up with Daniel Bryan helping him to retain his WWE Championship against Styles. Bryan and Rowan defeated The Usos for the vacant SmackDown Tag Team Championship, making Rowan a two-time WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion. He retained the title against Heavy Machinery at Stomping Grounds pay-per-view. He was also involved in a storyline with Bryan against Roman Reigns, where Reigns was being attacked by a mystery conspirator. Later, the mystery man was recognized as Erick Rowan, ending the alliance with Bryan. Rowan has once again aligned with Luke Harper with his recent return on WWE.
