Ronnie Aaron Killings, popularly known by his ring name R-Truth, is an American professional wrestler, rapper, currently working with World Wrestling Entertainment on the Raw brand. Killings started his wrestling career in 1997 by making an appearance at Independent wrestling promotions such as National Wrestling Alliance, World Championship Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Federation and Xtreme Pro Wrestling.

Killings joined World Wrestling Entertainment in 1997 till 2002.  He was signed to a two-year developmental contract in 1999 and under the name ring K-Kwik. He then signed a contract with  Total Nonstop Action Wrestling promotion in 2003. where he won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship twice, the NWA World Tag Team Championship twice and TNA World Tag Team Championship once.

In WWE, he is the one-time WWE Tag Team Champion, two-time United States Champion, two-time Hardcore Champion, and a record-holding 30-time 24/7 Champion. He also teamed up with Carmella to win the second edition of the Mixed Match Challenge.

EARLY LIFE

Ronnie Aaron Killings was born on January 19, 1972, in Williamsburg, South Carolina, United States. Truth dropped out of Harding High School at the age of 16 to focus on his music and rejected various colleges, offering him scholarships for both his talent on the football field and the race track. He also went to jail four different times due to his dealing with drugs.

R Truth resides in Indian Trail, North Carolina, United States. He is a married man and tied a knot with his wife Pamela Killings on 7 April 2011 at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens in Belmont, North Carolina. He has 5 children/ kids. PROFESSIONAL LIFE

Ronnie Aaron Killings started his professional wrestling career in 1997 when he joined Pro Wrestling Federation (PWF) as a manager. and trained with Manny Fernandez. In 1999, he debuted in NWA Wildside as K-Krush and was awarded NWA Wildside Television Championship.

Killings signed a two-year developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment in 1999 under the name ring K-Kwik. He was assigned to its developmental territory Memphis Championship Wrestling. He participated and won the battle royal to become the Southern Heavyweight Champion. He later lost the title to a masked Jerry Lawler. In 2001, he took in the Royal Rumble but was eliminated by Big Show. He defeated Raven for the Hardcore Championship and later lost the title to Crash Holly on the same night. He regained the title by defeating Raven.

Killings became a part of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in 2002 where he won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship twice, He formed a group named 3Live Kru with James and Konnan and the trio bagged the NWA World Tag Team Championship twice. He has also won the TNA World  Tag Team Championship with Adam Jones.

In 2008, Killings rejoined the World Wrestling Entertainment in 2008 under the ring name R-Truth. During his tenure with WWE, he feuded with Drew McIntyre, Ted Dibiase, The Miz, John Morrison, Zack Ryder and many more. R-Truth also teamed up with Miz to form Awesome Truth.  thus fired by Triple H. In 2011, he was elevated to main event status, headlining the Capitol Punishment pay-per-view against WWE Champion John Cena. R-Truth also formed a tag team with The Miz, called the Awesome Truth, facing John Cena and The Rock at Survivor Series.
