Mark William Calaway, popularly known by his ring name all over the world as The Undertaker, is an American professional wrestler, currently working for World Wrestling Entertainment on both Raw and SmackDown brands. The Undertaker has been recognized as one of the greatest in-ring legends witnessed in WWE history. From the time of his debut in wrestling in 1984 till 2019, he has delivered WWE Universe some iconic wrestling matches of all time.
Calaway has completed his 25 years of wrestling in 2015, and in that time he feuded with several wrestling greats like Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H and many more. Calaway, who was born in Houston, Texas, on March 24, 1965, has held 17 championships around his waist in which he is a four-time WWF/E Champion, a three-time World Heavyweight Champion, a six-time WWF World Tag Team Champion, a one-time WWF Hardcore Champion, and a one-time WCW Tag Team Champion (during the Invasion angle), one-time USWA Unified World Heavyweight Champion and a one-time WCWA Texas Heavyweight Champion.
Graduated in the year 1984 from Waltrip High School, Calaway, as a sports lover, played as a member of football and basketball teams. He was also involved in playing basketball for the Rams in the 1985–1986 season as a centre.

He married his first wife between 1989 and 1999 with whom they had a son. He then married to Sara, who is also a professional wrestler. The couple had two daughters together before divorcing in 2007. In 2010, he tied a knot with another WWE female wrestler Michelle McCool and together had their first kid in 2012. Calaway is a fan of boxing and mixed martial arts.

Mark William Calaway started his professional wrestling career in 1984 with ‘World Class Championship Wrestling’ (WCCW) with a ring name Texas Red. He later joined World Championship Wrestling in 1989 under the ring name Mean Mark. In 1990, he made his official debut at World Wrestling Federation (WWF) as Kane the Undertaker. He feuded with several wrestling stars of that time including Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage and The Ultimate Warrior.
At ‘Survivor Series’ in 1991, he defeated Hogan with the help of Ric Flair to win his first ‘WWF Championship,’ and thus became the youngest ‘WWF’ champion. He never looked back and bagged several championships around his waist including World Heavyweight Championship (3 times), WWF/WWE Championship (4 times), WWF Hardcore Championship (1 time) and WWF World Tag Team Championship (6 times) with Stone Cold Steve Austin (1), Big Show (2), The Rock (1) and Kane (2). He is also WCW Tag Team Champion with Kane.
In 2007, The Undertaker won his first Royal Rumble by eliminating Shawn Michaels. WWE Universe went into shock when The Undertaker’s undefeated Wrestlemania streak came to an end at Wrestlemania 30 after he was pinned by Brock Lesnar. The Undertaker feuded with several iconic legends for championships that include Triple H, Edge, Batista, Shawn Michaels, Kane, The Great Khali and so on.
The Undertaker missed his first ‘WrestleMania’ match at the ‘WrestleMania 35’ in April 2019, but returned to ‘Super ShowDown’ and defeated Goldberg. He also teamed up with Kane as Brothers of Destruction against Triple H and Michaels as DX in a losing effort at Crown Jewel. Apart from being a phenomenal wrestler, The Undertaker also appeared in some films, including the 1991 film ‘Suburban Commando’ and the 1999 film ‘Beyond the Mat.’ He appeared in the television show ‘Poltergeist: The Legacy’ as the ‘Soul Chaser Demon’ in 1999.
