Paul Michael Levesque, better known by his in-ring name Triple H, is an American professional wrestler & WWE Chief Operating Officer since 2013. Triple started his career in 1992 and now noticed as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. Known by his several in-ring names as The Game and The Cerebral Assassin, Triple H accomplished almost everything in the professional wrestling business.

After becoming the Executive Vice President Talent, Live Events and Creative for WWE, Triple H opened a wrestling yard as NXT for young wrestling talents, who are looking ahead to push their career into professional wrestling. Triple H is the founder and senior producer of NXT.

Triple H married to WWE Chairman Vince Mc Mahon’s daughter Stephanie Mc Mahon and rose to fame in a very less amount of time. In 2019, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for D-Generation X.

Paul Michael Levesque was born on July 27, 1969, in   Nashua, New Hampshire. Paul wanted to be a wrestler since his childhood. Triple H attended Nashua South High School and completed his graduation in 1987. At the young age of 19, Triple H opened his success gate into wrestling when he won the 1988 Mr. Teenage New Hampshire competition. In 1992, Levesque began to train as a professional wrestler at Killer Kowalski’s school in Malden.

Triple H resides in Weston, Connecticut, the U.S. with his wife Stephanie Mc Mahon and three daughters- Aurora, Murphy Claire, and Vaughn Evelyn. Paul’s father’s name is Paul Levesque Sr. and his mother is Patricia Levesque. Triple H and Stephanie married on October 25, 2003, in Sleepy Hollow, New York.

Triple H was involved with Chyna from 1996 to 2000; however, they ended their relationship following Triple H’s closeness with Stephanie.

Professional Life

Triple H started his wrestling career in the year 1992 when he joined Killer Kowalski’s school in Malden. He made his debut with an in-ring name Terra Ryzing and later defeated Mad Dog Richard to win the IWF Heavyweight Championship.

He signed a contract with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1994. This was the time when He started executing his iconic finisher move Pedigree to his opponents.

Triple H made his WWE debut on April 30, 1995. He rose to fame after becoming the winner of King of the Ring tournament in 1997. During this time, Michaels, Helmsley, Chyna and Rick Rude formed D-Generation X (DX). The year 2002 came in as a golden bend in Triple H’s wrestling career when he won the Royal Rumble and defeated Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 18 to become WWE Undisputed Champion.

He formed Evolution in 2003 and this faction still remains one of the most dominant teams in WWE history with Ric Flair, Randy Orton, and Bautista.  The group controlled RAW for almost two years before Triple H had turned on all its members one by one.

He reunited with Shawn Michaels as D-Generation X and feuded with Vince McMahon. He also feuded with Cena at WrestleMania 22 but lost via submission. Triple H returned at Summerslam 2007 post his injury and held WWE Championship title by defeating wrestlers like Cena, Orton and many more.

He bagged his 10th world championship at the Raw Elimination Chamber match in 2008. In 2009, he reunited with Michaels to form DX again. They defeated Jeri-Show to win the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship in a TLC match. He returned to WWE in 2011 challenging The Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Triple H lost to Taker at WrestleMania 27 and 28 and later defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 29, by delivering a ‘Pedigree’ onto the steel steps.

He created another villainous faction as ‘The Authority’, with his wife Stephanie, and set up handicap matches against any wrestlers who questioned his decisions. As ‘The Authority’, Triple H feuded with superstars like Cena, Reigns, Sting, and many more.

At Royal Rumble 2016, Triple H returned to defeat Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to claim the WWE Championship, his 14th title overall. He lost to Seth Rollins in a non-sanctioned match at WrestleMania 33 in 2017.

Batista returned to WWE in 2018 with the rest of Evolution for an appearance on SmackDown’s 1000th episode. Batista teased a match with Triple H, as he had never defeated Batista in singles competition. Later, Batista lost to Triple H at Wrestlemania 35. Recently, Triple H lost to Randy Orton at Super Showdown.
