Jaipur Pink Panthers Vs. U Mumba
Match number 80 of Pro Kabaddi League season 9 saw Jaipur Pink Panthers topple U Mumba to take the third spot in the points table. The Season 1 champions defeated the Maharashtrian outfit by a dominating margin of 10 points.
Jaipur Raider Arjun Deshwal was again at the heart of everything as he showed his class and delivered 13 raid points for his side. His lone efforts did prove enough but other Raiders like Rahul Chaudhari and Bhavani Rajput failed to turn up and won 1 raid point each.
However, their solid defense should be applauded for their outstanding work. Jaipur registered one of the best tackle success rate of this season with 63.16%.
Captain Sunil Kumar led from the front by picking 3 tackle points while Reza Mirbagheri and Abhishek KS collected one point each. Sahul Kumar was the best defender of the night but he missed his High 5 by just a point. Left corner Ankush also joined the act by contributing 3 tackle points.
The final score line at the end of 40 minutes was 32-22.
Telegu Titans Vs. Bengaluru Bulls
Up next in Match number 81, a South Indian Derby was on display between Bengaluru Bulls and Telegu Titans. This was the second meeting between these two teams and yet again Bengaluru Bulls came out victorious. They defeated Telegu Titans by 11 points to further solidify themselves in the points table.
Titans are now surely out of play-off contention but they did everything to win last night but it just did not click for them. Raider Siddharth Desai completed his Super 10 and ended the night with 18 raid points to his name. But his contribution went in vain as other raiders like Abhishek Singh, Monu Goyat and Vinay gathered only 7 raid points.
Meanwhile, Bengaluru Bulls continued their winning spree and they are possibly on a title charge this season. What a clinical performance it was by the whole team, especially by Bharat and Neeraj Narwal. Both added a total of 30 raid points with the former scoring 17 raid points and the latter brought back 13 raid points.
Vikash Kandola also helped by winning 3 raid points. Meanwhile, the defenders fully complimented the raiders as Captain Mahender Singh (1 tackle point), Saurabh Nandal (3 tackle points), Aman (6 tackle points) and Sudhakar Krishna (1 tackle point) added 11 points for the win.
Final score line at the end full time was 38-49.
