Patna Pirates Vs. Tamil Thalaivas
Match number 81 of Pro Kabaddi League season 9 ended in a draw between Patna Pirates and Tamil Thalaivas. Both the teams have taken the 8th spot and 9th spot respectively. The most successful team in PKL history Patna Pirates played really well but Thalaivas went toe-to-toe with the 3 times champions.
Patna Raider Sachin Tanwar ended the night with 14 raid points and he was again at the heart of everything. Narender from the other side also showed his class and delivered 16 raid points for his side. Narender received the support from raiding compatriot Ajinkya Pawar as he bagged 7 raid points as well.
Himanshu Singh would have hoped for a better performance but all he managed to do was get was only 2 raid points. If we won 4-5 more raid points then the score line would have been a bit different. Thalaivas had a better raid strike rate of 52.17% and they deserved to win the game.
Meanwhile Patna Pirates had a raid strike rate of 48.89% and other than Sachin, all-rounder Rohit Gulia and Monu shared 11 raid points between them. They did not have too many chances in the match but whenever they had, Patna’s defense would let it slip.

Dabang Delhi K.C Vs. UP Yoddhas
Second match of day 34 saw the defending champions Dabang Delhi K.C heavily crash out against Pardeep Narwal’s UP Yoddhas. The capital outfit in a way were thrashed by UP as they suffered a defeat by 19 points.
Narwal had an outstanding match as he not only completed his Super 10 but he scored unbelievable 22 raid points. He received the support of Mahipal, Anil Kumar and Rohit Tomar as the trio shared 11 raid points between them. They had a Raid strike rate of 76.74% in front of Delhi’s 53.49%.
From the capital side, Naveen Kumar finished with 8 raid points, Ashu Malik had 2 raid points and Vijay Malik had 13 raid points. However, their poor defensive display saw them crash out very easily in front of UP Yoddhas as Delhi had a depressing tackle success rate of 14.29%.
