UP Yoddhas Captain, Pro Kabaddi League‘s most decorated raider – the “Dubki King” Pardeep Narwal reached yet another milestone in the history of the tournament after he amassed his 1500th Raid point last night against Gujarat Giants.

In the previous seasons he held the record of reaching 1300 and 1400 raid points and this season, Pardeep Narwal has grabbed the attention once again after becoming the first player to reach the 1500 raid point milestone. The former Patna Pirates raider is way above than the second most successful raider Maninder Singh and it took Pardeep a total of 147 matches to achieve this feat.

In match number 94 of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League season 9, UP Yoddhas met Gujarat Giants where the former prevailed by a margin of 4 points with a final score line of 35-31. The Dubki King led from the front as usual and bagged 9 raid points for his side but failed to complete a Super 10.

However, he was still able to make it count as he completed 1500 career raid points in PKL history. His 9 raid points included 7 touch points, 2 bonus points and with that win against Gujarat Giants they have climbed to the 4th spot in the points table.

Prior to UP’s clash against Gujarat, Pardeep had 1495 raid points and he needed only 5 more raid points to reach the 150 mark. Meanwhile, this season Pardeep Narwal sits 6th in the list of top raiders with 156 raid points to his name in 16 appearances.

In terms of Super 10s, Narwal has the highest among all and this time around he has 6 Super 10s in total. The two-time PKL Champion has now 1504 raid points and his side are well on-course to reach the play-offs this season.
