Even after all of this, he is still one of the most effective spinners in the game. He has even opened the innings for his franchise KKR and has been a pinch hitter in recent seasons. Sunil has 122 wickets in 110 matches with a strike rate of 20.96. He has been retained by KKR ahead of the 2020 IPL auction and with Chris Lynn release he might even slot in as their permanent opener.
