Kofiville !! Kofiville!! The triumph of Kofi Kingston, leading his successful tale as a WWE Champion continues at Smackville event, putting him on a Summerslam main event match against The Viper Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. He successfully defended his title against Ziggler twice on back to back Pay-Per-Views this year, whereas he thrashed Samoa Joe with the taste of Trouble in Paradise at Extreme Rules, and then again on this past episode of SmackDown Live.
Kofi Kingston has also joined the list of three-digit-days streak as he has held the WWE title for more than 100 days now. Along with the grand victory of Kofi Kingston, Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Ali at Summerville after Balor was removed from the match on July 27 due to an undisclosed injury.
WWE as Walk With Elias show was ruined by Owens after he threw Elias out of the ring, however, Elias got heated on Owens by delivering him a super plex. Later, Elias went for a clothesline, but Owens hit a stunner for the win.
It’s a great day for The New Day at Smack Ville as The New Day also successfully defended their Smackdown Tag Team Championship against The B-team ( Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel). On the other side, The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce) (c) defeated The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
The rising talent of NXTto Smackdown Aleister Black also bagged a victory against Andrade whereas, Heavy Machinery (Otis and Tucker) defeated AOP (Akam and Rezar) in a tag-team match at the main event. Sami Zayn got the better of Appollo Crews in a singles match at WWE Smackville event.
With the victory of Kofi Kingston as a WWE champion at Smackville, one thing is proved, that Kofi is not afraid of the most devastating three words in the WWE Business i.e., RKO, however, Orton is preparing well to become fourteenth- time world champion after 2017, when he last won. Summerslam is going to be one hell of a match between these two all-time best performers in the WWE. As both the superstars have a huge amount of fan following, it is not obvious who will WWE Universe support at the Summerslam pay-per-view.
Excitement is building up for the upcoming edition of Summerslam, where not only the favorite stars are all set to lock horns, but the newest, most shocking & memorable moments in WWE history will also be witnessed at the same point.
