The Pro Kabaddi League has seen a lot of performers throughout its history. We have seen a lot of players step up for their respective teams on various occasions and seasons. Today, we are going to have a look at the top-10 raiders ever in the Pro Kabaddi League history.

1. Pardeep Narwal – Pardeep Narwal, popularly known as the Dubki King, has been the league’s top raider where he has performed well and consistently over the years. He has played a total of 153 matches till now in the PKL and has scored a total of 1568 raid points in these matches. His average raid points per match are 10.24, which shows how consistent he has been throughout. He started his PKL journey in Season 2 where he played for Bengaluru Bulls. In the third season, he was bought by Patna Pirates and his Kabaddi life changed completely. He accompanied Rohit Kumar in the third season of PKL for Patna Pirates and both of them helped Patna lift the trophy. Next year, Rohit left Patna and Pardeep became the lead raider of the team. He helped Patna lift two more consecutive trophies in Seasons 4 and 5, where the fifth PKL season was his breakthrough season and the best for any raider ever in the PKL history. He played two more seasons for Patna Pirates and even became the first player to reach the landmark of 1,000 raid points in the seventh season of PKL. He was then bought by the U.P. Yoddhas and has been playing for them currently for the past two seasons.

2. Maninder Singh – Maninder Singh has been the league’s next-best raider after Pardeep Narwal. He has collected a total of 1231 raid points as of now in the 122 matches that he has played. He has scored points with an average of 10.09 raid points per match and has been very much consistent over the years. Maninder Singh, also known as Mighty Maninder, started his PKL journey with the season 1 winners Jaipur Pink Panthers in the inaugural season of Pro Kabaddi League. Unfortunately, he then got injured and was ruled for the next three seasons from the Kabaddi mat. In season 5, in the year 2017, he was then bought by the Bengal Warriors and has played for them since. He even went on to win the title with Bengal Warriors in Season 8, where he led the team brilliantly to their first trophy. In Season 6, playing for Bengal Warriors, he became the fastest raider to complete 400 and 500 raid points in PKL history. He has been an integral part of the Pro Kabaddi League since Season 5 and has carried the Bengal Warriors team over the years. We hope to see more of him in the coming years setting the Kabaddi mat on fire.

3. Rahul Chaudhari – Popularly known by the name Showman, Rahul Chaudhari has been one of the finest raiders in the Pro Kabaddi League. He started his Kabaddi career as a defender but then went on to be one of the best raiders in Indian Kabaddi history. He started his PKL career with Telugu Titans in Season 1 of the Pro Kabaddi League, where he finished as the second-best raider after Anup Kumar of U Mumba. He then played for Telugu Titans for five more seasons, carrying the team single-handedly and leading the team’s raiding department. In the beginning seasons of the Pro Kabaddi League, he was also the poster boy of the league. He was the first player in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League to reach the milestone of 500, 600, and 800 raid points in total. In Season 7, he was bought by Tamil Thalaivas alongside Ajay Thakur but was not able to do much. In the next season, he played for Puneri Paltan where he scored only 13 raid points in 7 matches that he played. In the ongoing season of PKL, he has been playing for Jaipur Pink Panthers. He has scored a total of 1039 raid points in the 150 matches he has played in the Pro Kabaddi League.

4. Deepak Hooda – The only all-rounder in the list of top raiders in the Pro Kabaddi League history is Deepak Niwas Hooda. He has been a phenomenal player in the PKL where he has scored more than 1000 raid points (1020) in the 157 matches that he has played. He started his journey in the Pro Kabaddi League with Telugu Titans. He played for them in Seasons 1 and 2, alongside Rahul Chaudhari. In the third season, he shifted his PKL career towards Puneri Paltan where he played the role of a lead raider of the team. In the third season, Hooda helped Puneri Paltan in finishing on the podium, by being the player of the match in the third-place playoff. He then changed his team to Jaipur Pink Panthers in the sixth season, where he was again a very important player in their setup. He then played for them for three seasons before playing for Bengal Warriors in the ongoing PKL Season 9. He hasn’t been in good form this season, but we hope he brings out his best again in the next season of the Pro Kabaddi League for whichever team he plays.

5. Pawan Sehrawat – Pawan Sehrawat, who started his PKL career in the third season with Bengaluru Bulls, has been a top player in the league since then. He was then released by the Bulls and played for Gujarat Giants in the fifth season of the Pro Kabaddi League. He didn’t add much value in that season for the Gujarat team and hence was released again. In the sixth season, he played for Bengaluru Bulls again and had a breakthrough season where he led the Bengaluru Bulls to the PKL trophy. He finished at the top in the league’s best raider charts after the seventh season scoring an astonishing number of 353 raid points. He played for the Bulls again in the eighth season before getting released by them. He was then bought up by the Tamil Thalaivas camp for a whopping 2.26 crores to play for them in the 9th season, but got injured and was ruled out of the tournament. We hope to see him back on the Kabaddi mat very soon in the next season with the same hi-flyer spirit and determination.
