India won the second ODI of the India tour of New Zealand by 4 runs (DLS method) after chasing 134/10 set by New Zealand in 41 overs, finishing 113/7 in 26 overs.

New Zealand's innings was powered by DJ Mitchell who made 55 off 104 balls, MJ Santner 31 off 38 and HM Nicholls 11 off 26, while Gurnoor Brar took 4 wickets for 30 and Anshul Kamboj 2 for 25.

India's chase saw Shubman Gill dismissed first, followed by Virat Kohli 7, Rohit Sharma 23, Shreyas Iyer 30, Naman Dhir 12 and Anshul Kamboj 1; the bowling was led by Kyle Jamieson 3 for 35 and Jacob Duffy 3 for 35.

Player of the match was Gurnoor Brar and the toss had seen India elect to bowl first.
