Prithvi Shaw’s selection was long overdue as his list A average is clocking around 52.54 his recent knock of 379 runs showcased his hallmark as champion.

Very few cricketers have scored triple century in a game in the context of Ranji Trophy. For him to achieve this feat was an outstanding moment in cricket.

Shaw has been recalled in the T20 format where he may or may not get chance in the playing X1 as the opening combinations when it comes to T20 format is quite settled with Shubhmann  Gill and Ishan Kishan at the top.

It would be interesting to see that whether this star play will get an opportunity to play in the final X1.

India is also chipping and changing a lot when it comes to T2o format as they are trying bowlers like- Umran Malik, Md Siraj and Mohd Shami.
