Sonya Deville Biography: Daria Rae Berenato, popularly known by her ring name Sonya Deville, is a female American professional wrestler, working with World Wrestling Entertainment for Smackdown brand. Berenato emerged out as one of the thirteen finalists for the sixth season of the WWE competition Tough Enough in 2015.
At a very young age of 16, Berenato began her training in martial arts and later signed a contract
with WWE and was assigned to its developmental territory NXT where she lost her first match to Nia Jax. She also participated in a six-in a six-woman tag team match along with Mandy Rose, and Alexa Bliss, where they tasted a defeat by Carmella, Liv Morgan, and Nikki Cross.
In 2017, Berenato changed her ing name as Sonya Deville and participated in a battle royal match for NXT Women’s Championship shot, however, she failed to bag the victory. Deville bagged another chance to win the gold but lost the opportunity in a fatal four-way match for the vacant NXT Women’s Championship.
Sonya Deville joined hands with Paige and Rose to form a faction named Absolution in 2017. Deville and Rose competed in a six-team Elimination Chamber match for the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and emerged out as a final team eliminated by Banks and Bayley to win the title.

She persuaded her academics from Seneca High School in Tabernacle, New Jersey. At the age of 16, Deville began training and competing in mixed martial arts.

PROFESSIONAL LIFE
Deville started her professional wrestling career in 2015 when she bagged a place in thirteen finalists for the sixth season of the WWE competition Tough Enough. With her overall performance during her session with Tough Enough, Deville received an offer from WWE to join its developmental wrestling unit NXT in 2015. Berenato made her in-ring debut against Nia Jax in a losing effort. Berenato then competed in a six-woman tag team match along with Mandy Rose, and Alexa Bliss, in which they were defeated by Carmella, Liv Morgan, and Nikki Cross.
Deville participated in a number one contender’s battle royal for Asuka’s NXT Women’s
Championship, however, she failed to bag the title shot after being eliminated by Peyton Royce and
Billie Kay. Deville bagged another chance to win the gold but lost the opportunity in a fatal four-way match for the vacant NXT Women’s Championship. Deville also had a No Holds Barred match against Ruby Riot, which she won.
In 2017, Deville Sonya Deville joined hands with Paige and Rose to form a faction named Absolution in 2017. Deville and Rose competed in a six-team Elimination Chamber match for the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and emerged out as a final team eliminated by Banks and Bayley to win the title.
Deville and Rose were drafted to SmackDown in 2018 hence the faction The Absolution had ended.
However, Deville and Rose remained their tag-team. Deville also took part in the first-ever all
women’s pay–per–view, WWE Evolution, competing in a battle royal match, but lost the
opportunity.
Rose and Deville as “Fire & Desire” competed Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross to bag a Women’s Tag Team Championship shot at Clash of Champions. At Clash of Champions, Rose and Deville were unsuccessful to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
At Wrestlemania 35, Deville and Rose competed in the second WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal match but didn’t bag the victory. Deville made her video game debut as a playable player She made her WWE video game debut as a playable character in WWE 2K19.
