Scott Dawson Biography: David Michael Harwood, popularly known by his ring name Scott Dawson, is an American professional wrestler, currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment for the Smackdown brand.

He is the current WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champion with Dash Wilder. Harwood started his career in 2004 with Independent wrestling promotions like CWF Mid-Atlantic, AWA Superstars of Wrestling NWA Anarchy, Pro Wrestling Zero1 and many more.

Harwood joined Ring of Honor in 2010 and even performed at North Carolina independent platform including United Professional Wrestling Association. Harwood signed a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2012 and was assigned to the WWE Performance Center for training purposes.

He entered the WWE with the ring name Scott Dawson. He held NXT Tag Team Championship twice with Dash Wilder under the team name The Revival.

In 2017, Dawson made his WWE main roster debut on Raw, where he along with Wilder as The Revival battled The New Day in a winning effort. Dawson and Wilder defeated Roode and Gable to win the Raw Tag Team Championships.

At Wrestlemania 35, they lost their titles to the team of Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. The Revival also collaborated with Randy Orton in a feud against The New Day.

They defeated The New Day (Xavier Woods and Big E) to win SmackDown Tag Team Championship. The Revival became the first-ever team to hold the Raw Tag Team Championship, SmackDown Tag Team Championship, and NXT Tag Team Championship.

PROFESSIONAL LIFE

Harwood kicked off his professional wrestling career in 2004 with independent wrestling promotions like CWF Mid-Atlantic, AWA Superstars of Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Zero1, Ring of Honor and even North Carolina independents including United Professional Wrestling Association. Harwood signed the contract with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2012 and was later assigned to WWE Performance Center for training purposes.

Harwood made his WWE televised debut by teaming with Judas Devlin in a two-on-one handicap match against Adrian Neville. He formed a tag team with Dylan and Rusev to bag the contender ship for NXT Tag Team Championship, however, failed to bag the victory.

Dawson then formed a team with Dash Wilder, and together picked up their first televised win against Amore and Cassady. Dawson and Wilder also participated in Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament, but lost in the semi-finals by winners Finn Bálor and Samoa Joe.

Dawson and Wilder defeated The Vaudevillains to win the NXT Tag Team Championship, and started performing under the team name The Revival. The Revival lost the NXT Tag Team Championship to American Alpha (Chad Gable and Jason Jordan) but the titles once again from American Alpha two months later at NXT TakeOver: The End.

In 2017, Dawson made his WWE main roster debut on Raw, where he along with Wilder as The Revival battled The New Day in a winning effort. The Revival participated in the Raw Tag Team Eliminator tournament to crown new champions but lost in the semi-finals to Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt.

In 2019, The Revival defeated Roode and Gable to win the Raw Tag Team Championships.

At Wrestlemania 35, they lost their titles to the team Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins’s team. The Revival also collaborated with Randy Orton in a feud against The New Day. They defeated The New Day (Xavier Woods and Big E) to win SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

The Revival became the first-ever team to hold the Raw Tag Team Championship, SmackDown Tag Team Championship, and NXT Tag Team Championship in WWE history.

As the part of the 2019 WWE Draft, The Revival was drafted to SmackDown. Dawson made his video game debut as a playable character in 2K17 followed by WWE 2K18 and WWE 2K19.
