MV Jilna Professional Life

Indian athlete, MV Jilna was at the height of her career in 2019. In national athletics camp based at the National Institute of Sports in Patiala. In September, an Indian sprinter had given her personal best in 100 meters.

However, the Kerala sprinter’s life took a U-turn after her medical check-up found out that the newlywed couple is expecting a baby which also affected her mental and physical strength, and was out for more than a year.

After a year-long break, MV Jilna was back for the 25th Federation Cup Senior Athletics Championship at the University of Calicut and made it remarkable by clocking a personal best time of 11.63s to claim the silver medal in the 100m race just behind Dutee Chand.
