One of Gayle’s former Royal Challengers Bangalore teammates takes fourth spot on the list of batsmen who have hit the Most Boundaries against MI in IPL cricket, and it’s none other than Mr 360 himself, AB de Villiers.
Given the nickname for his ability to hit the ball to all parts of the ground, de Villiers seems to showcase all his skills when taking on Mumbai Indians, having hit 61 fours against them in 20 innings. If that trend continues in 2020, then Royal Challengers Bangalore’s matches with Mumbai Indians promise to be extremely entertaining this season!

Ajinkya Rahane is widely regarded as a classic, elegant batsman who has the ability to go big when the situation demands it. This style of play usually means that he hits more fours than he does sixes, but almost every hit to the fence (or over it) is usually a thing of beauty. Equally adept at playing straight down the ground as he is square of the wicket, Rahane has hit no less than 64 fours in just 17 innings against his local IPL side.

If you’ve been looking for Suresh Raina’s favourite opponents in the IPL, look no further – the stylish left-hander from UP has scored the most runs (by far) against Mumbai Indians and also sits second on the list of sixes hit against them as well as the list of Most Boundaries against MI in IPL matches. In 32 innings against them, Raina has hit 67 balls to the fence to go along with 35 over it on his way to scoring a staggering 818 runs at an average of 31.46. Raina is laying the groundwork for a possible return to the Indian limited-overs setup and will be hoping for a good showing in 2020.

#1. Shikhar Dhawan (76 Fours)
So great is Shikhar Dhawan’s ability to hit fours in T20 cricket that he sits atop the list of batsmen who have hit the most fours against Mumbai Indians in IPL history despite having featured for the MI in the past! Dhawan, who holds the record for hitting the most fours in the history of the IPL, has hit 76 fours in 20 innings against Mumbai, scoring 664 runs at an average of 41.50.
He has featured for a number of sides in the past, playing for both editions of the Hyderabad teams as well as both editions of the Delhi franchises, and currently turns out for Delhi Capitals.
