Angel Di Maria Biography: Angel Di Maria a.k.a Noodle is an Argentine professional footballer who plays for the Argentine national team and the Ligue 1 club Paris Saint Germain. Angel stepped into professional football through the club Rosario Central in 2005 followed which he moved to Portugal in 2007 to join Benfica. After playing for three years, he joined Real Madrid for 25 million Euros. Playing for the club he played a major role for the club during 2011-12 La Liga and UEFA Champions League. In 2014 he signed Manchester United for 59.7 million Euros. He played just one season for the club after which he decided to join the PSG for 44 Million Euros. From the national side, he had contributed his presence in three FIFA World Cups and four Copa America tournaments.

EARLY LIFE

Angel was born on 14^th February 1988 in Rosario, Argentina to Diana Hernandez ad Miguel Di Maria. Since his childhood Angel was active in sports, he started playing football at the age of three. Angel doesn’t come from a wealthy family so he helped his parents with their work at the local coal yard with his two sisters, Vanesa and Evelyn. In 1995 Angel joined a local club Rosario central in 1995 and graduated from the academy 2005. After his graduation, he made his professional debut for Rosario on 14^th December 2005 against the Apertura in a 2-2 draw. He netted his first goal on 24^th November 2006. After seeing his gameplay at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup he was approached by English club Arsenal, but Angel then refused to join the club.

Angel married his biggest fan Jorgelina, in 2011 after two years they met. In 2013 the couple was blessed with daughter Mia, but have to spend two months in hospital after she was born cause of her ill health. Angel after becoming successful bought a house for his father and mother.

In 2007 Angel joined the Portuguese side Benfica on 2007 July as a winger for 6 million Euros but signed the official deal in 2009 which includes his extension and minimum release set to be 40 million euros. Playing for the club he netted his first hat-trick in 4-0 win against Lexus. After a decent start in his career, he got his breakthrough in Real Madrid which signed him on a five-year contract for 25 million euros on 28^th June 2019. For the club, he made his debut on 4^th August 2010 in a friendly match against the Mexican side America, in a 3-2 win. On 22^nd August he netted his first goal for the club in another friendly match against Hercules in a 3-2 win. For the club, he netted his first goal in a 1-2 away win over Real Sociedad. While playing for the cup ahead he contributed his gameplay in conquering the 2011-12 La Liga, 2010-11 & 2013-14 Copa del Rey, 2012 Supercopa de Espana, 2013-14 UEFA Champions League and 2014 UEFA Super Cup.

After the 2014 UEFA Super Cup, Angel signed a five-year deal with Manchester United on a transfer fee of 59.7 million euros, listing him among one of the most expensive transfers of all time. He was given jersey number 7 previously worn by players like George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona, David Beckham, and Cristiano Ronaldo. He made his debut on 30^th August in the same year against Burnley in a draw. He netted his first goal for the United on 14^th September, although the start of his career with Manchester United was very decent but in the coming events he was being booked for driving and grabbing the shirt of referee Michael Oliver hence was replaced by Wane Rooney, many journalists wrote articles claiming his signing as the worst signing ever in the season.
