WWE: 6 Potential Superstars to set Elimination Chamber 2020

Talking about the pay-per-view events in the World Wrestling Entertainment brings to you the memories of Survivor Seris, Royal Rumble. Summerslam and more importantly ‘The Grandest Stage of them all’ Wrestlemania. Legends came and made their names by involving in some of the iconic wrestling matches in the business. Caged matches like Steel Cage and Hell in a Cell in WWE have always been recognized as one of the most demonic structures in WWE, and careers have been permanently altered by its unforgiving steel. In all the cage matches held until now, the Elimination Chamber has been the picked as the popular one.

The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is all set to return with its tenth event for their Raw and SmackDown brands. It will take place on March 8, 2020, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. WWE holds a bundle of memories inside this brutal, merciless cell with its beginning. Some of the biggest superstars in WWE history, including Shawn Michaels, Mankind, Undertaker, Triple H, Batista, and more, have had signature moments in the Elimination Chamber. The Elimination Chamber event was created by Triple H and was introduced by Eric Bischoff in 2002. To this date, 24 Elimination Chamber matches have already been registered in WWE archives. Elimination Chamber 2020 is now just 30-days away before WWE Universe will get his/her champion for Wrestlemania. So, who do you think will emerge out for the elimination chamber match this year from Smackdown, as the Raw wrestler Drew McIntyre has already won the Rumble to headline Wrestlemania for WWE Championship against Brock Lesnar.

1. Roman Reigns

Known as ‘The Big Dog’ in the WWE, Roman Reigns has had a great ‘Road to Wrestlemania’ history in the past five years. Reigns had been in the ring with several big superstars like Triple H, The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar for Wrestlemania event. He had also won the Elimination Chamber in 2018, earning the spot to headline Mania against Lesnar for WWE Universal Championship. He is currently feuding with Baron Corbin, but Reigns is one of the strongest contenders to enter the Elimination Chamber match in 2020.

2.  King Corbin

Baron Corbin changed his ring name as ‘King Corbin’ after he won King of the Ring tournament. WWE believes in Corbin and has faith in him being a part of their upper mid-card. Corbin competed in the 2017 Elimination Chamber, where he tasted a defeat and lost the opportunity to become WWE Champion. With his ongoing feud with Reigns, WWE might give him another chance to earn the spot for WWE Universal Championship. However, it seems like the WWE Universe is in no mood to see Corbin as the face of the Smackdown brand.

3. Daniel Bryan

Yes! Yes! Yes!,  and it could be ‘Yes’ as Daniel Bryan, who was the winner of Elimination Chamber 2019, and retained his WWE Championship back then, could be the part of this demonic steel structure once again. The current WWE Universal Champion ‘The Fiend’ has recently defeated Bryan twice, however, WWE is planning to offer former WWE Champion one more chance for the championship as he has gotten closer than anyone to defeating “The Fiend”.

4. Sheamus

‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus has recently made his return to the WWE ring post his injury. He’s a former World Champion and has the momentum of his return behind him. Could it be enough momentum to propel him to a Wrestlemania main event? Probably not, but the possibility of WWE choosing him is big enough that he earns a spot in this match. He looks just as good as always with dominating victories over Shorty G. Sheamus has held the WWE World Heavyweight Championship four times in his wrestling career.

5. Kofi Kingston

One of the greatest high-flying superstars in the World Wrestling Entertainment, Kofi Kingston received a huge push in his career last year when he had a tremendous gauntlet match victory, putting him into the chamber. That chamber appearance was well supported by WWE Universe, leading him to bag his first WWE Championship win at Wrestlemania. He held the title for 180 days before losing to Lesnar in under ten seconds. Kingston could also be the pick for Elimination Chamber for all means. Kingston had been into four elimination chamber matches so far. So will the ‘Kofimania’ rise up once again?

6. Braun Strowman

Popularly recognized as ‘The Monster amongst Men’ Braun Strowman made his first appearance inside Chamber in 2018, where he held a record of five eliminations. Strowman lasted until the end of the match but was eliminated after two spears from Roman Reigns. With his power-packed performance inside the circular steel structure in the past, WWE could possibly go ahead with his name, setting his match against his old mate Bray Wyatt for the WWE Universal Championship at Wrestlemania.
