Early Life
Sunil kumar was born on 12 May 1997 in Sonipat, Haryana. when he was just 13 years old he start playing Kabaddi. Sunil Kumar is also the cousin of Gujarat fortune giant defender, Parvesh Bhainswal.
Sunil Kumar and his cousin Parvesh Bhainswal have been very close to each other’s success throughout their life. Sunil and Parvesh have crossed every crucial phase of their lives together. They completed their schooling together got selected into the same university team together.

Their coach was so impressed by their mutual understanding that he Parvesh’s journey that he set them in the spot of covers, which is a very crucial position and requires a lot of understanding. Sunil’s journey is a replica of Parvesh’s journey.
However, both of them got picked in the 4th Season of PKL. Sunil Kumar got picked by Patna Pirates whereas Parvesh got selected for Jaipur Pink Panthers. Both of them didn’t have an exceptional season as they lacked each other’s support.
However, both of them were picked up by Gujarat Fortune Giants in season 5. They added 108 tackle points to their team’s tally and guided them to the final in their maiden season itself. Both of them have almost spent every minute of their life together have made it to the highest level of the sport together and look forward to doing the same in their bright career ahead.
Sunil Kumar Pro Kabaddi Career
Sunil Kumar is an Indian professional kabaddi player who started his career in season 4 of VIVO Pro Kabaddi League with Patna Pirates. Sunil Kumar only played 1 match for the team. He is considered one of the best Indian Right cover defenders.

Sunil Kumar was acquired by Gujarat Fortune Giants for the 5th Season of Pro Kabaddi League, where he was made the captain of the team.
Sunil Kumar is not only an excellent tackler but is also a prolific assist provider for his teammates’ tackles and finished among the league’s top two assist-providers.
Sunil Kumar finished as the most successful right cover defender of season 6 with 76 tackle points. His 81 assists were the second-most among all defenders in VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season 6. Diving Thigh hold is his signature. Sunil Kumar will yet again feature for Gujarat Fortune Giants in Season 7 of Pro Kabaddi League.
