Early Life 

Ravinder Pahal is a professional kabaddi player and has featured in all seasons of Pro Kabaddi League. He has been one of the most consistent players in the Pro Kabaddi League’s history.

He was adjudged the best defender in Pro Kabaddi Season 2. He scored 64 points from 14 matches for Dabang Delhi. He scored more than 50 tackle points in Pro Kabaddi season 5, becoming the fifth player in Pro Kabaddi League to cross the 200 Tackle Points mark.

Ravinder Pahal’s time to shine came after the launch of the PKL in 2014. The defender was signed by Dabang Delhi for the inaugural season. Although he played just 9 games in PKL 1, Ravinder bagged invaluable experience, defending alongside Delhi’s captain, Jasmer Singh Gulia, the Asian Games gold medallist. Ravinder finished with 29 tackle points in 9 games in the first season of PKL.

Ravinder Pahal in 300+ points club

In the seventh season of the Pro Kabaddi League, Ravinder Pahal crossed the 300 tackle point mark. He became only the second player, after Manjeet Chillar to achieve such a remarkable position in pro kabaddi league. The Right Corner is also the second most successful defender in the Pro Kabaddi League’s history.

Before the start of the PKL 7, Ravinder represented Railways team at the 66th National Kabaddi Championship. And the defender, along with veteran Dharmaraj Cheralathan, helped the Railways to the title. Railways crushed Services 41-17 in the final.

Ravinder Pahal comes from Sonepat, a land known as the country’s ‘Kabaddi capital’. The district has been giving great talents like Parvesh Bhainswal, Sandeep Narwal, Deepak Hooda, Deepak Narwal, and Virender Wajir Singh.

Pahal was season 2’s best defender, scalping 64 points from 14 games. He was also one of the first few defenders to score 9 points in a match.

He was part of the Delhi team that won the distinction of being the first side to scalp 50 points in a single game.
