The batsman from Sunrisers Hyderabad is at number five in the list for best batting averages against DC in the IPL history. The 30-year-old cricketer has been a part of four franchises – Sunrisers Hyderabad, Pune Warriors, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Royal Challengers Bangalore – during his IPL career. He has two half-centuries to his name against  Delhi, including the highest score of 80. In 13 innings, he has scored 372 runs at an average of 41.33 and a strike-rate of 120.

The stats show how big of player he is for the Hyderabad franchise and due to his consistency, he has now become a mainstay in the T20 Internationals for the Men in Blue in the international circuit. He also has 32 boundaries and 9 huge sixes against the Shreyas Iyer-led side. The right-hand batter will be once again an integral part of the IPL and will look to continue the golden run in the league.

Probably one of the hardest-hitters of the cricket balls, Yuvraj Singh has been one of a kind. The average makes him fourth in the list for Highest Batting Average in DC (Delhi Capitals) in the tournament’s history.

After having the highest strike-rate against Delhi Capitals, South African legend AB de Villiers is third on the list of batsmen having the highest batting averages against the same team.  De Villiers has been a part of the tournament for eight editions and he has completely annihilated the team with his impeccable batting skills. In 15 innings against the DC, De Villiers has racked up over 430 runs at an average of 61.42 since 2011.

He has four half-centuries to his name and struck with 41 fours and 21 sixes against the Delhi side. The batsman has the highest-score of 90 against the same opposition.

After conquering every single side in the tournament, he has a particular liking towards Delhi Capitals. In 21 games across the league against the Delhi team, the current Indian skipper has accumulated 825 runs at a whopping average of 63.46 in the tournament. He is the highest run-getter against Delhi Capitals in the tournament’s history.

He will be looking to carry on in a similar vein in the 2020 season, as he is the face of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and will look to dismantle Delhi bowling line-up.
