Sandeep Narwal Early life and family:
Sandeep Narwal is an Indian Kabaddi player. He was born on 5 April 1993 in Sonipat, Haryana. He completed graduation from Jat College, Sonipat. Kabaddi was the most natural choice for Sandeep. He grew up watching his father, OP Narwal, make the country proud. His father is a former kabaddi player himself. In fact, he represented the country at the Asian Games.

Sandeep started playing kabaddi when he was just eight years old. His exploits at the junior level earned him a lot of recognition. He won numerous trophies and titles and represented his school in numerous tournaments.
Sandeep was very fortunate to have found the right inspiration, as well as guidance in his life. While his father motivated him to take up kabaddi, it was Jagdish Narwal, who polished his skills. His guidance in Sandeep’s initial days played a huge part in his development as a bankable kabaddi player.
Sandeep Narwal Pro Kabaddi Career:
Sandeep Narwal started off his career as a raider, but he slowly upped his defensive game to become one of the most successful all-rounders of Pro Kabaddi League. He made his debut in Pro Kabaddi Season 1 itself and featured for the Patna Pirates.

Sandeep played the first three seasons of Pro Kabaddi League with Patna Pirates. He captained the team in season 2 and the team reached semi-finals. The third season was also very successful for Sandeep as he won the Best Defender of the Tournament with 53 tackles.
In the fourth season of the league, Sandeep was signed by the Telugu Titans. Later, he played for the Puneri Paltan for the next two seasons.
Sandeep Narwal won a Pro Kabaddi League title with Patna Pirates in Pro Kabaddi Season 3. He has played for two other franchises since and would turn up for the third in Pro Kabaddi Season 7 as he line-up for U Mumba.
Sandeep Narwal International Career:
Sandeep Narwal first played for the Indian team in the Junior Asia games where he caught the eye of several coaches due to his performances. He was part of the Indian team which won the Gold medal in South Asian Games 2016. He was also part of the title-winning Indian team for Kabaddi World Cup 2016 and Dubai Masters 2018.
He was also part of the Indian team who won the bronze medal in the 2018 Asian Games after losing to Iran in the semifinals.
He can play the right cover position as well which creates versatility and provides an option for any team that he plays with. His aggression and leadership qualities are well-known, his passion for the sport unrivalled and his strength in defense unmatched.

He became an all-rounder after being selected by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) which sent him to Gandhinagar.
In 2011, he was selected to represent India at the Junior Asian games.
He has also captained Patna Pirates and guided them to the semi-finals in the Season 2.
With 53 successful tackles, he was rewarded with the Best Defender of the Tournament at Season 3 of PKL.
