Puneri Paltan appoint new Captain: Puneri Paltan on 17th of July appointed Surjeet Singh as the new Captain of their team. The star defender would lead the side in the upcoming season of Pro Kabaddi League Season 7. He was also a part of the side in Season 3. He is back and all set to lead the team from the front.
Earlier this year, the team launched its new team logo. The logo was widely liked by the Kabaddi fans. The side also unveiled a new slick orange jersey during the event. The jersey gives a dynamic and global look as much as it signifies the rich Maharashtrian culture. As the jersey color suggests proper team coordination and game spirit of the side.
The event started with a celebrity style entry of the team CEO Kailash Kandpal, Captain Surjeet Singh, Head coach Anup Kumar, followed by the other team players. Mr. Makarand Kanade, Sr. Vice President, Quality, Force Motors, unveiled the team’s brand-new jersey for season 7.

Elated at being appointed the captain of Puneri Paltan, Surjeet said, “I am humbled by this decision of the management. I would like to thank Anup sir and Kailash sir for showing the faith in me and giving me this responsibility. This is my second stint with Puneri Paltan after season 3 and with a comeback, nothing is better than getting an opportunity to lead the team. Under Anup Sir’s guidance, we have been training extensively to give our best performance for the league and we are all ready to set the mat on fire.”

The Vivo Pro Kabaddi League starts from 20th of July.
