Early Life
Naveen Kumar was born on 14th February, 2000 in Sultanpur in Haryana, and was the first player to born in 2000s in Vivo pro kabaddi league. He was born in a family which had a sports culture in blood, his grandfather is a state-level wrestler. Naveen was first introduced to the world of kabaddi by his grandfather, a wrestler when he was just seven-years-old. Moreover, since he was growing up in Bhiwani – the village which has also given Parvesh Bhainswal.
Naveen Kumar in junior national championships, he represented his school in the junior national championship and further he went on representing his team in the senior national championship. Naveen Kumar went on to feature in the U-17 Championships before going to play at the national level.
Naveen Kumar completed his Higher Secondary Education in Physical Studies from Kuk University, Haryana.

Naveen Kumar was born in Sultanpur in Haryana. Naveen had a mother who is housewife and a elder sister name, Siksha Goyat. When Naveen Kumar was studying he was asked by his father to choose between studying or playing kabaddi in sports, he chooses kabaddi over studies but he didn’t quit his studying and passed his twelve class with first division.

Naveen Kumar went on to feature himself in the U-17 championship, then we went on to feature himself on the national level held in Bhiwani, there he was selected as the best raider and he scored most raid points.
His family was extremely happy when he was chosen as the best raider in u-17. People in his village gave him grand welcome.

Naveen Kumar Pro kabaddi career
Naveen Kumar is an Indian professional kabaddi player who plies his trade as a raider. He made his debut in Pro Kabaddi League in Season 6. The youngster was bought by the owner of the Dabang Delhi K.C. Team for INR 6.6 lakh.

Naveen kumar debut had all eyes on him and in just 22 matches in his first season and he scored 177 points. He has been one of the finest performers for Dabang Delhi and one of the major reasons of the side reaching the play-off in Pro Kabaddi Season 6.
Naveen was the youngest player in Season 6 of Pro Kabaddi. He is the first player born in the 21st century to play in Pro Kabaddi league.

In his 4th game for Dabang Delhi, Naveen Kumar became the second youngest to get a Super 10 in Pro Kabaddi history. He was the leading raid points scorer for Dabang Delhi in Season 6 and will continue to play for the Dabangg in Season 7 of the league.

Iconic Match vs Patna Pirates
The match between Dabang Delhi and Patna Pirates was seen as a raiding slugfest between Pardeep Narwal and Naveen and both of them excelled. Looking at how the game panned out, the pendulum tilts slightly in favour of Pardeep Narwal. Though Patna Pirates put in a valiant effort, they went down at the hands of Dabang Delhi.
All in all, it was a historic day for Dabang Delhi as they won their fourth consecutive match at the home leg setting a new record of most wins at home leg surpassing U Mumba with 2 victories.
Naveen kumar too became the fastest raider to reach 300 raid points surpassing Maninder Singh, he took only 33 matches to achieve the milestone. He also broke Pardeep Narwal record of most super 10’s in a season, he scored his 9th consecutive super 10 of the season 7.
