Chandran Ranjit born on June 7, 1991, and brought up in Chennai, Tamilnadu. Chandran belongs from a very poor family and his father was a framer. Chandran Ranjit did his graduation from Rajakkamangalam Thurai, Kanyakumari. He started his kabaddi training from Alanthankarai one of the best team of Kanyakumari district. Earlier days he was coached by Mr Ravi from the academy where he was training. Academy had produced some wonderful talents like Jeeva Kumar and many more to come.

Chandran Ranjit is an Indian professional kabaddi player who plays as a raider. He was born in Chennai and trained there. He made his Pro Kabaddi League debut in Season 1, playing for Telugu Titans. He stayed put for another season before moving to Gujarat Fortune Giants in Pro Kabaddi Season 5.

Delhi then brought him for 61.25 lakh in Pro Kabaddi Season 6 and shelled 70 lakh a year later to retain his services for Season 7 of Pro Kabaddi.
