The 34-year-old middle-order-batsman is one of the better batsmen in Indian cricket. He made his IPL debut in 2010 for the Mumbai Indians. He is currently playing his trade for Chennai Super Kings in the cash-rich tournament.
Rayudu has scored 1694 runs at an average of 47.07 for India, playing 55 ODIs. Rayudu never got a chance to play in the Test team. He was in the headlines before the World Cup in 2019 for his exclusion from the Indian team.
Skipper Virat Kohli had declared him as the number 4 batsman ahead of the World Cup, but then he was dropped from the squad
as all rounder Vijay Shankar was announced as his replacement.
