Diya Chitale is an emerging table tennis star of India and recently included in the India squad of Commonwealth Games 2022. The right handed paddler is known for her aggressive style of playing has an ability to completely dismantle the opposition on most occasion.

Diya Chitale Professional Life:
Diya trains for 5-6 hours every day to ensure that her mind and body is well prepared ahead of every game with time she has learned the art of strategizing the game.
She had also learn the nuances of table tennis under Coach Peter Angel in Germany and her ultimate aim is to represent India in upcoming Paris Olympics 2024.
She scored an authorative win against Juliana Lozada by 11-6, 11-2 &11-5 in 31 minutes at the Villa Deportiva National Peru on Sunday.

Diya Chitale stays away from controversy had a very clean image as player and she is a focussed player eyeing to make big contribution to Indian table tennis in years to come.
Diya Chitale Unsung Facts:
She recently dedicated her medal to late Grandfather Sudhir, 78 year old who passed away last year.
“I wish my grandfather was around to see me win this medal. This would have meant a lot to him. He would have been very proud of me because he always encouraged me to play table tennis,” Chitale told mid-day recently.
“My grandfather was a veteran in the field of education. He retired as the principal of Bhawan’s College in Chowpatty. But despite education being a focus at home, once I started doing well in sports, he supported me wholeheartedly.
“He ensured no one at home pressurised me to prioritise education over sports. I was his pet. We shared a special bond,” added Diya.
She is currently pursuing Bachelor of Business Adminstration(BBA) and currently trains at Vile Parle’s Prabodhankar Thackeray Krida Sankul for furnishing her table tennis skills.
