The game has evolved over the course of years and now the franchise cricket is in limelight all around the globe. This year India announced the inaugural of WPL from 4th of march. Not just Indian players overseas players also got handful amount of money in auction.

RCB took the right decision in auction and played the cards on selected overseas player . RCB has got the likes of Ellyse perry one the best women’s cricket on planet.

RCB whole Squad for WPL– Smriti Mandhana, Sophie Devine, Ellyse Perry, Renuka Singh, Richa Ghosh, Erin Burns, Disha Kasat, Indrani Roy, Shreyanka Patil, Kanika Ahuja, Asha Shobana, Heather Knight, Dane van Niekerk, Preeti Bose, Poonam Khemnar, Komal Zanzad, Megan Schutt, Sahana Pawar.

*Sophie Devine– Sophie is a right-handed batter and right-arm fast-medium bowler. Devine made her debut for the New Zealand women’s cricket team in February 2006 at the age of 16 and has since become one of the most well-known players in women’s cricket.

Devine has also played domestic cricket for the Wellington Blaze and Perth Scorchers in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL).

RCB managed to get Sophie in their squad. RCB always tries to choose the best in the business. The experience she brings as a captain of new Zealand is worthy. Sophie will be looking to fix a spot in the final 11 of RCB.

*Erin Burns-She is a right-handed batswoman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.Burns made her debut for the Australian women’s cricket team in September 2017 in a One Day International (ODI) against Sri Lanka. She has also played for the Sydney Sixers in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) and for the New South Wales Breakers in domestic cricket.

She was also a part of the Australian team that won the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2020. Erin has played franchise cricket and she knows how to tackle the situations. Erin has joined the camp of RCB for training sessions. She will be looking to score runs in Inaugural of WPL.

*Heather knight– She is a right-handed batter and off-spin bowler and has represented the England women’s cricket team in all formats of the game – Test, One Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 International (T20I).

Knight made her debut for the England women’s cricket team in 2010 . She has been the captain of the team since 2016 and has led the team to many important victories, including winning the Women’s World Cup in 2017.

RCB has got plenty of Captain on their side. Heather will be seen to playing the role of match finisher for RCB. RCB already had Ellyse Perry to play the role of finisher.

In addition to her international career, Knight has also played for Western Storm in the Women’s Cricket Super League (WCSL) and for Sydney Thunder in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL).

*Megan Schutt– Schutt made her international debut for Australia in an ODI against England in 2012.She played a crucial role in helping Australia win the 2014 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 and the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20.

In addition to her international career, Schutt has also played for Adelaide Strikers in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) since the tournament’s inception in 2015. She has been one of the leading wicket-takers in the tournament and was named the WBBL Player of the Tournament in 2019.
