The foreign players always makes the game interesting in Indian leagues. This year some of the greatest foreign players will be taking part in WPL. Let looks at the top 5 Foreign players in WPL.

Meg lanning– She is an Australian cricketer. Lanning made her international debut for Australia in 2010 at the age of 18 and quickly established herself as a key player in the team. She has since become the fastest player, male or female, to score 1,000 runs in T20I cricket.

Lanning has also led the Australian team to numerous titles, including the 2013 Women’s Cricket World Cup, the 2014 ICC Women’s World Twenty20, and the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20.

Delhi Capitals bought Meg lanning and named as the captain of their Squad. Meg will provide an all round strength in team with her experience.

Alyssa Healy- She is a wicket-keeper and top-order batter who is known for her explosive batting style and her excellent skills behind the stumps.

Healy is also known for her record-breaking performances in T20 cricket. In 2018, she set a new record for the highest score by an Australian woman in T20 cricket, scoring 148 not out against Sri Lanka. She is also the first woman to score a century in T20I cricket, achieving the feat against the same team earlier in the same series.

The most new member in franchise cricket Up warriorz has bought Alyssa Healy and announced her as their captain. Healy will be trying to get the same success as she got with Australian side. The experience she brings to team is a blessing.

Beth Mooney – Mooney made her debut for the Australian women’s cricket team in 2016. In 2018, Mooney was named the Women’s Big Bash League Player of the Tournament after scoring 482 runs in 14 matches for the Brisbane Heat.

Gujrat titans bought Mooney and made the captain of Gujarat titans. Australia’s players are having a good time in India.

Ellyse Perry- Ellyse perry is considered one of the greatest female athletes of all time, known for her exceptional skills in both cricket and soccer.

Perry made her debut for the Australian women’s cricket team in 2007 at the age of 16, becoming the youngest Australian to play international cricket.

She has won the Belinda Clark Award, which is given to the best female cricketer in Australia, a record three times, and has also been named the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year twice.

RCB aquired the services of Perry, the top two players in women’s cricket will be playing for RCB just like Virat kohli and AB devilliers.

Natalie sciver- Sciver made her debut for the England women’s cricket team in 2013 and has since become a key member of the team. She is a top-order batter and medium-fast bowler who is known for her all-round skills and consistency.  In 2020, she was named the ECB Women’s Cricketer of the Year for her performances on the field and her contributions off the field.

Natalie will be playing for Mumbai this season, Mumbai fought a tough battle with Up  warriorz to get Natalie in mumbai. Mumbai has made a core team for them and it will help them in future.
