Early Life :
Komal Zanzad is a Nagpur born Maharashtra Women’s cricketer who plays for the Indian national women’s team. She mainly operates as a left-arm medium fast bowler and represents Vidarbha Women in the domestic circuit. Thanks to her performances, Royal Challengers Bangalore Women in the inaugural Women’s Premier League auction for INR 25 Lakhs.
She developed a fond interest in Cricket after seeing boys in her colony play the sport. Komal grew up playing gully cricket and became a bowling enthusiast. Zanzad got into a cricket summer camp and was the only girl in the academy at age 13.
The 31-year-old made her domestic debut for Vidarbha women’s when she was 15. After impressing in domestic cricket, Komal Zanzad received an India red squad for 2018-19 season. In 2019 February, she made her senior debut for India against England.
