The Inaugural season of WPL is going to be too much exciting. Not just Indian players, many overseas players made large amount of money in the auction of WPL.

Delhi Capitals has made a squad with young talented players like shafali and got a load of experience players like Meg lanning overseas players and international players of india. *Meg lanning– Meg lanning is considered one of the best female cricketers of all time and is currently the captain of the Australian women’s cricket team. Off the field lanning is known for her contribution in promoting sports campaign in Australia for cancer patients.

Delhi Capitals announced lanning as the captain of their squad for the inaugural season of WPL. Meg is also a strong leader and has been praised for her tactical skills on the field. In addition to her international success, Lanning has also had a successful domestic career, playing for the Melbourne Stars in the Women’s Big Bash League.

*Laura harris– Laura harris is an Australian cricketer. She is a right-handed batsman for Queensland Fire in Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL) and represents Brisbane heat in Women’s Big bash league. Laura harris and Grace harris are siblings.

Throughout her career she played for diffrent franchises. In The hundred she scored 61 runs in 6 matches. Delhi Capitals would be choosing laura and she has to make impact on WPL to get selected in the national team.

*Marizanne Kapp– Kapp made her international debut for South Africa in 2009 and has since become one of the most important players in the team. She is known for her all-round skills, as she is equally effective with both bat and ball. Kapp has represented South Africa in all formats of the game. Coming from different countries and shining like a star in indian leagues.

In addition to her international career, Kapp has also played domestic cricket for several teams in South Africa and has also played in various T20 leagues around the world. Kapp has received several awards and accolades throughout her career, including the South African Women’s Cricketer of the Year award in 2015 and 2018.

*Jess Jonassen– Jonassen is a left-arm orthodox spinner and a left-handed batter. She made her debut for the Australian women’s cricket team in 2012 and has since become a key player in the team. She has been a part of the Australian team that has won several major tournaments, including the Women’s Cricket World Cup, Women’s T20 World Cup, and the Women’s Ashes.

She  plays for Queensland Fire in WNCL and  for Brisbane Heat in WBBL. She has been a consistent performer in both the leagues, helping her teams win titles. Delhi Capitals would be hoping these kinds of performance for thier overseas players.Off the field, Jonassen is known for her love for animals and is an ambassador for the RSPCA in Queensland
