FIFA World Cup 2022 has come to a conclusion as Messi Argentina lifted the World title for the third time in their history by beating France in the Final by 4-2 on penalties. Lionel Messi after 7 Ballon D’ors, 10 La Liga and 4 UEFA Champions Leagues, has finally won the coveted World Cup trophy.

8 years since his first final at Brazil, Lionel Messi has finally it at the most exciting editions ever. This edition was truly a wild one and the most competitive ever. 2. Lionel Messi is the only player to win 2 Golden Ball awards – The heartbreak in 2014 Final against Germany meant that Messi would have to wait a bit more to land an International trophy. Lionel Messi is only the second South American to score 20+ goals Internationally – Messi has the most man of the match awards (11), most Golden Balls (2), most Ballon D’ors (7), most appearances as player (26) and as Captain (19). Its as if Messi just had to follow his passion of Football and the records would follow him. The Records are just not ending.
