VK Vismaya Biography: VK Vismaya is an Indian sprinter who specializes in the 400-meters. She has been selected in the upcoming Tokyo 2020  Olympics along with her teammates Muhammed Anas, Nirmal Noah, and Jisna Mathew.

Velluva Koroth Vismaya was born on 14 May 1997 in the Sreekandapuram village, Kannur district, Kerala, India. She is 22 years old and is one of the budding athletes in India.

Vismaya who specializes in 400m and 4 * 400m relay events, has made the country proud in various sporting events. V K Vismaya stunned her fancied opponents, M R Poovamma and Hima Das, to win the gold medal in the women’s 400m race at the Indian Grand Prix-3 event
in the women’s team category.

In 2019 she won the Silver medal in the Women’s 4*400m relay team and also participated in the Mixed relay event.

The quartet of VK Vismaya, Muhammed Anas, Noah Nirmal Tom, and M. R. Poovamma competed in the 4 × 400 meters mixed team relay at the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Doha, where they clocked 3:16.14 in the heats to qualify for the final and secure a place at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
