After waiting for a long period of time, BCCI has finally announced the schedule Of IPL 2020 on Sunday. As far as Rajasthan Royals’ matches are concerned, they will start their IPL campaign on 22nd September 2020 against Chennai Super Kings at Sharjah cricket stadium. There will be a four-day gap between their first and second fixture of the tournament. The second match of RR will be played on 27th September 2020 against KXIP at Sharjah.
Rajasthan Royals will play 6 matches in Dubai, 5 matches in Abu Dhabi and 3 matches in Sharjah. RR will play two-afternoon games this season, which will be held on 11th October and 17th October 2020. The franchise will play their final match of the league phase on 1st November 2020 against Kolkata Knight Riders in Dubai.
The team will be led by Australia’s former skipper, Steve Smith. RR veteran, Ajinkya Rahane won’t be part of the side this year as he has been traded to Delhi Capitals. The side boasts of world-class players such as Steve Smith, Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes among others.

Rajasthan Royals finished at seventh position last season. They won just 5 games out of 14. They will be hoping to put on a better performance this time around. For the uninitiated, Rajasthan Royals have won one IPL title in the league’s history. Under the leadership of Shane Warner, they won the inaugural tournament after beating CSK in the finals.
All the matches will start at 7:30 PM (IST). Dubai will hold the most number of matches (24), while 20 matches will be held in Abu Dhabi and 12 in Sharjah.
